Description

The Droughts in Mountain Regions working group is running under the umbrella of the HELPING Scientific Decade by the IUGG International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS). This working group currently gathers nearly 100 scientists and practitioners from all around the world studying Droughts in Mountain Regions and envisioning solutions to improve their management from headwaters to lowlands. In this side event, we will host the first in person workshop of this working group. We aim to discuss current activities and brainstorm about future directions for the working group.
