We as #AlpSoil_Lab focus our research on the investigation of soil fauna communities on (high) alpine landscapes.
Like here at the GLORIA “Ragnarök” site, we install pitfall traps to catch ground-dwelling spiders, millipedes and beetles. Sampling is done during the short alpine growing seasons from late May to early October. Further, we are taking soil samples to assess the soil fauna and to analyse the physical and chemical soil properties.
