BACKGROUND
The French Embassy in Austria and the Institut Français d’Autriche strongly support scientific exchange and collaboration on shared mountain environments to promote sustainable development. As many excellent research institutions working on mountain-related topics are based in France, numerous French researchers will once again take part in IMC2025. The French Embassy warmly invites all participants of the mountain conference to a reception.
ABOUT THE SESSION
The panelists, both experts in mountain ecology, have successfully secured funding for an international joint project (LUCSES) between the LECA Grenoble and the University of Innsbruck. They will share their collaborative experiences, which may inspire other researchers wishing to apply for similar projects, while highlighting the richness of partnerships involving diverse languages and cultures, particularly between France and Austria.
