Description
The austrian-liechtenstein presidency is currently preparing a state of the territory report in order to strengthen a territorial perspecitve on the strategy’s cooperation topics.
During this full-day expert workshop, we will discuss key future-oriented issues of territorial development in the Alpine region with experts from public administration, science, civil society, and practice. The seminar will focus on important cross-sectoral conflicts in land use in the Alpine Region and work on recommendations for integrated solutions in spatial planning and development. The aim of the seminar is to jointly reflect on the interim results of the State of the Territory Report together with stakeholders from the entire Alpine area. The seminar will take place as part of the International Mountain Conference (#IMC) in Innsbruck and builds on the ongoing thematic discussions within the Alpine Convention. At the same time, it is part of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) under the Austrian–Liechtenstein Presidency.
Target groups:
Representatives of the EUSALP, the Alpine Convention, the Interreg programmes, and experts from research, spatial planning, NGOs, administration and consulting – as well as participants of the International Mountain Conference.
