#IMC Abstract Guidelines

 

  • Who?

    Please register a My#IMC account to successful submit an #IMC abstract

  • When?

    Abstract submission is open from Jan 10 to Feb 20, 2025

  • Abstract Criteria

    To successfully submit an abstract you have to meet following requirements

    • Title: 3 – 30 words (max. 200 characters)
    • Formats: Oral or Poster Presentation
    • Abstract: 100 – 350 words (max. 2500 characters, UTF-8 HTML character set)
    • Excerpt: max. 30 words (max. 200 characters)
    • Keywords: min. 1, max. 5
    • Affiliations: max. 30
    • Co-Authors: max. 20
    • Corr. Author: changeable

    NOTE: At #IMC the first author is also presenter!

  • Confirmation and Submission

    In a last step, confirm the terms and conditions to successfully submit an abstract.

  • Check your emails

    Please check your email for a confirmation message, and review your dashboard to see the current status of your abstract.

  • Participation

    Once the submission phase concludes, your abstract will be reviewed and discussed. Official conference participation will be confirmed upon completing registration in the next step.

Additional Informations

  • At #IMC, each participant may submit a maximum of two abstracts (abstracts for #S4SSS and co-authorships are not counted).
  • At #IMC, the submitter is automatically designated as the first author and presenter. If a change in presenter is necessary, please contact us via the contact form to request an update.
  • No duplicate submissions: Submitting the same abstract to multiple sessions is not allowed. The scientific committee will reject duplicates.
  • Content responsibility: Authors are responsible for the scientific quality and content of their abstracts. #IMC reserves the right to reject abstracts that:
    • are not written in English
    • are outside the scope of the #IMC
    • do not meet basic scientific standards
    • Violate the #IMC code of conduct, including issues of civility and decency
  • Incorrect session selection: If you realize before the abstract submission deadline that you have submitted to the wrong session, do not withdraw your abstract. Instead get in touch with us via contact form and our team will assist in relocating it
  • Language Requirement: The official language of the #IMC is English. Simultaneous interpretation will not be provided. Presenters are expected to deliver their research in clear and fluent English.
